Structural formula: (CH3CH2)2NCSSNa·3H2O
Characteristics: White powder or loose crystals with a slight fishy odor, readily soluble in water and alkaline. It absorbs moisture from the air and gradually decomposes; when exposed to acids, it decomposes into carbon disulfide, diethylamine, and other substances.
Applications: An ideal selective collector for the flotation of copper, lead, zinc, antimony, and other metal sulfides. It exhibits rapid flotation kinetics and requires a lower dosage compared to xanthates and black medicines. For polymetallic sulfide ores, it outperforms xanthates and black medicines in terms of recovery rates. It can also be used in metal smelting and refining processes. Under high-alkalinity conditions, it enhances the separation efficiency between lead and zinc while reducing or eliminating the need for cyanide. In the rubber industry, it serves as a promoter.
Specification: Complies with YS/T270-94 standard
Packaging: Each open-top steel drum is lined with a plastic bag and has a net weight of 40 kg per drum; small drums have a net weight of 50 kg per drum; large drums have a net weight of 160 kg per drum.
Storage and Transportation: Waterproof, fireproof, and resistant to prolonged exposure to sunlight.
Note: If the customer has special requirements for quality and packaging, these shall be met in accordance with the technical specifications or packaging documents stipulated in the agreement.
Precautions: This product gradually decomposes upon absorbing moisture from the air and decomposes into carbon disulfide, diethylamine, and other substances when exposed to acids. Carbon disulfide can damage the central nervous system, causing numbness, restlessness, and loss of sensation; it also irritates and corrodes the skin, eyes, mucous membranes, and respiratory tract. When handling this product, always wear rubber gloves, a mask, and safety goggles. If ethylthioazone accidentally comes into contact with your skin or eyes, immediately rinse thoroughly with plenty of water.
