Sodium N,N-dimethyldithiocarbamate, also known as sodium dimethyldithiocarbamate, is used as a terminating agent for emulsion styrene-butadiene rubber and styrene-butadiene latex, an industrial fungicide, a metal precipitant, a vulcanization accelerator for rubber products, and an agricultural insecticide. It serves as an intermediate in the production of fungicides such as thiram, ferbam, ammonium dithiocarbamate, zinc dithiocarbamate, and nickel dithiocarbamate.
The flotation reagents 920A and 920B exhibit broad-spectrum mineral separation selectivity and are suitable for a wide range of non-ferrous metals, including gold, silver, copper, iron, lead, zinc, antimony, tungsten, uranium, molybdenum, potassium, indium, phosphorus, as well as coal and graphite. In the flotation of lead-zinc ores, these reagents require low dosages, demonstrate excellent foaming performance, enable rapid flotation of sulfide minerals, and minimize the entrainment of tin in sulfide minerals. During the separation of sulfide minerals, they can yield high-quality lead-antimony concentrates and indium-zinc concentrates, thereby improving both the grade and recovery rate of the concentrates.
The product is primarily used as a precipitant for non-ferrous metal ions.
An ideal selective collector for the flotation of copper, lead, zinc, antimony, and other metal sulfides—characterized by rapid flotation kinetics and requiring lower dosages than xanthates and black medicines. It outperforms xanthates and black medicines in the flotation of polymetallic sulfide ores and can also be used for metal smelting and refining. Under high-alkalinity conditions, it enhances the separation efficiency between lead and zinc while minimizing or eliminating the need for cyanide. In the rubber industry, it serves as a promoter.
